For lay people who wish to do short retreats, a has been built next to the large Temple. Consisting of approximately twenty single rooms, a kitchen, refectory, bathrooms and a garden this building offers all the conditions favourable for short retreats. There isl also a specially equipped room for people with physical handicaps.
To carry out a retreat at Laussedat in the rooms designated for this purpose, you should contact the reception office in advance in order to make a reservation.
The Karma Tarchin Lhundrup congregation is responsible for the management of these short retreats.
A participation of around 23 € (150,87 Fr) per day per person is asked for these short retreats. This includes full board accommodation.
Meals are taken communally, providing an opportunity for an exchange with other practitioners.
You may have regular interviews with the lama guiding your retreat depending upon his or her availability and the practice's requirements.
Retreatants may also attend the daily Mahakala ritual as well as any other rituals open to the public if their lama approves.
